Gachagua Mocks Ruto's Buffalo Milk Proposal

Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has mocked President William Ruto's suggestion to explore buffalo milk as an alternative dairy source. Gachagua joked that he sent local youth to search for wild buffaloes in Hombe Forest to secure milk for his guests.

Gachagua made the remarks while hosting opposition leaders at his home in Wamunyoro, as part of efforts to form a united front against Ruto's reelection in 2027. He stressed his aim to reinvigorate political activities and build cross-regional coalitions.

Opposition Unification Efforts

Gachagua confirmed ongoing discussions with visiting delegations and expressed flexibility on who leads a joint ticket. He vowed to strengthen his party and secure legislative seats to safeguard his political base.
