Babu Owino Speaks on Winnie Odinga's Senate Bid
Babu Owino comments on Winnie Odinga's entry into Nairobi politics
Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has addressed Winnie Odinga's decision to run for the Nairobi Senate seat.
He stated that he will not launch political attacks against Winnie, the daughter of his late mentor Raila Odinga, as he campaigns for the Nairobi governorship.
Babu emphasized that voters will determine the outcome of the 2027 General Election, and he will respect their decision.
He also argued that community ties should not limit candidates, citing the 2022 election where Nairobi voters chose leaders from the same community for different seats.
